So it looks like Apple is doing a lot of catch up with competitors in iOS 8. The latest addition is a “split-screen” feature found buried in the code for iOS 8, so obviously it’s not official (yet). Below you’ll find a video of developer Steven-Troughton Smith demoing the feature which clearly isn’t in it’s final form (insert joke here).

You can see that the feature can be set to 1/4 or 3/4 of the screen, similar to Windows 8. Whether or not this feature is going to make it into the final build come fall is still unclear, but we’re hoping it will.
