The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) may be the grounds where Sony reveals their virtual reality headset for the Playstation 4. Apparently, the original plan was for Sony to reveal the headset at Gamescom; however, Sony decided the final intentions for the device were not ready to be revealed.

Apparently, someone close to the development of this headset has informed us that Evolution Studios is working closely with the device to create a cockpit simulation in its racer titled DriveClub. Also, the headset will be sold separately, just like the Playstation 4 camera, to keep the cost of the system at $400.

Even with all of this being pure speculation, it seems that virtual reality is the next big thing in video games. Personally, I would have skipped right over the entire 3D phase (3DS, 3D televisions) and moved right into virtual reality.

What are your opinions on this? Would you pick up one of these headsets for your PS4? Let us know in the comments below!
