A brand new feature in iOS 8 is the instant hotspot. Essentially, it displays your iPhone as a “WiFi” network on your Mac when you aren’t connected to the internet. It is a seamless way to connect to the internet without fiddling around in the settings of your iPhone. You literally don’t even have to touch your phone because it will just automatically display under your WiFi icon in your toolbar on your Mac. As well as displaying your phone, it will also show signal strength, type of connection, and battery life.

How do you feel about Instant Hotspot? Will you use it?
