Wired wrote an article on their website of the iPod Touch 3rd Generation having a Camera and a Microphone. There have also been other rumors of it haveing video recording as well. The video and microphone will open the doors for the chat applications for video and voice chat over 3G or Wi-Fi. Fring. Nimbuzz, and Skype are the top three applications that (I think) will recieve video and voice chat if Apple incorperates the APIs into the iPhone SDK.

A well-connected source tells us those rumors are on the money, and that Apple’s factories in China are already manufacturing iPod Touch models with integrated cameras and microphones. An Apple spokesman declined to comment when reached by phone.
There are also other rumors that the iPod Touch will have Verizon MiFi which will create a hotspot for your iPod Touch with Verizon’s Wireless Network. If you do not know what MiFi is,click Here!
