Ever wanted to change an apps name without the use of a jailbreak tweak to do it? Want it to be permanent?
For example, you can’t change biteSMS for some reason. Well i’m going to show you step by step on how to do this.

First, you’re going to need something to access the device’s root system (iFile, iFunBox, etc)
Once you’re in the root system, your going to want to navigate to “/”. We’re going to be using the biteSMS app as an example.

Okay, so now that we are in the “/” section, your going to navigate to “Applications”.

Then from there, we go into “biteSMS.app”.
Once your in the folder, your going to navigate to “English.xxxxx”

After that, your going to click on “biteSMS.strings” Click on “Property List Viewer”

Navigate until you find the apps name which in this case is, biteSMS.

Click on “biteSMS”, rename it to whatever you want (i renamed it to Messages) and you’re done!
All your going to have to do is respring. You can do this to whichever apps you want to. It’s that easy!
